5/18/2009:
Barb and I had a great time. We went riding behind her house. We were blessed with beautiful weather and the enjoyment of each others company :-).
We didn't get to ride for very long, but still it was great to get out and enjoy all the beauty that God has created and it was an extra bonus that I was blessed to share it with my best friend :-).

Kodi and I at Barb's house. We had just gotten back from our little ride in the management area behind Barb's house. She is so blessed to have such a beautiful place to ride and with it being practically out her back door.

Barb and I were blessed with another wonderful day to go riding.  We were both enjoying the beautiful scenery and all of God's beauty that surrounded us that neither one of us got a picture of us in the woods,  we didn't even think to get pictures until we stopped for a break once we got on the management road :-).

Today was truly a blessing. I was able to get out and enjoy spending time with my best friend horseback riding and enjoying being out seeing the beauty that God has created.

My best friend Barb and I were so blessed to have been accompanied today on our ride by some wonderful women. Susan and Jeania came all the way from north of Searcy to ride with us in the management area behind Barb's house.  We were, however, in the middle of the woods when a storm came through.  We were very blessed to have made it through the storm with only getting soaked..lol..

Barb with her big boy Dusty. Dusty is usually a really good boy for Barb, but today he got an attitude with Barb and she wasn't real happy with him at the moment.  Kodi and Dusty were both a little on the excited side today but all in all I have to say they did pretty good through the storm.

Part of the trail we just came through.

I feel so blessed to have been with my best friend and my new friends on this day. Even though we got caught in a storm, I still feel we were blessed. This was definately a day to remember :-). I pray we will be blessed with many more memories together, hopefully the next time without a storm :-)...lol

Despite my grubby appearance, I LOVE these pictures. Barb and I's Kodak moment :-)LOL

Below: Barb finally got a picture of my best side :-)...

The sun was out and it was a little on the muggy side, but we were blessed with just the right amount of breeze to cool us as we rode.

Kodi and the South road intersection. Petit Jean River WMA, we'd just brought them through the trails that cut through the woods.

On the trail through the woods in the management area. Jeania upfront on Dancer and Susan with Baby Doll on the trail. Susan walked the entire way and even had the horses trotting to keep up with her. She is an amazing person and it was a complete joy and blessing getting to spend time with her and Jeania.

Susan and Baby Doll and Jeania on Dancer.  This was Dancer's 5th ride out and she did wonderfull, she acted like she was a pro and had done trails all her life, especially during her first time riding out in a storm. It was a real blessing to have gotten to meet these two wonderful ladies and their beautiful horses.
