This is without a doubt the hardest thing I have ever had to write.

On Feb. 19, 2010 my mother Marie Elaine Branson King passed away. My mom was not only my mother she was my best friend.  Mom loved her children, grandkids and great grandkids and she was happiest when she had her family and friends around her. Mom loved life and she tried to live everyday to it's fullest.  I am so blessed to have many happy memories of the time I spent with my mother. Mom and I talked everyday, several times a day and it's so hard to believe I will no longer get to hear her voice or feel her hug me or get to see her smile or hear her laughter.

I miss you Mom and I am so proud to have been your daughter. I thank you for the joy and the love that you so freely blessed me with. I know that you are enjoying your family reunion in Heaven. Please take care of Old Jim for me until it is my time to join you both in Heaven.

Mom's first, and unfortunately her only ride on her pride and joy Emma. Mom and I had plans to hit the trails together this spring, so I will be doing a ride this spring in honor of Mom.
