Angel is a MFT who came to us on 9/3/2009. She has had a pretty rough time in her short lifetime. Angel is not 3yrs old yet.
Angel has some obvious trust issues and she needs to gain some weight. According to Angel's previous owner, Angel was sent off to a trainer who apparently beat her..
We will just take things slow and work on building her trust. It is in my opinion that at this time Angel is not physically or mentally ready to be working under saddle, so we will just start from scratch and work on building her trust and getting her respect.

This is some of the sores caused from the halter that was on her . You can see in the first picture that she has rubbed spots on her nose and cheeks as well.
In this picture Angel is letting me scratch her cheek. She has warmed up a little to me and will let me pet and rub all over her while at the barn.
Angel needs to gain some weight in her top line and hips.
I lucked out and found her "spot" and she has several times now come up to me at the barn wanting me to scratch her some more :-)
In this picture Angel is in one of the stalls with my best friend Barb's horse Doc. She really likes Doc and doesn't get to far from him.
9/11/2009 Angel went to her new home today.
Thank you Jim and Dee Fales for giving Angel a wonderful new home. We look forward to seeing her flourish under your loving care...
