11/18/2009: Today I was blessed with a wonderful horse named Rambo.
Rambo is a young 20 year old retired roping horse who still has plenty of get up and go and many good years left in him. I feel I have been so blessed to have him become a part of my life and my family.
Look for more updates after Rambo has had a chance to settle in.
11/18/2009: Rambo doesn't look like my old Jim, but as I spent time with him this afternoon grooming and loving on him, I noticed so many simularities to my old Jim I almost cried. I normally don't ride a horse it's first day here, and I can't explain it, but I was so excited I couldn't wait, I saddled Rambo up and took him for a ride around the pasture. I know I probably looked like a fool smiling from ear to ear, but it felt sooo good riding Rambo,it was almost like riding my old Jim again..I felt a happiness I thought I would never feel again after my Jim died. Thank you so much Christy for blessing me with the opportunity to share my life and love with Rambo! I look forward to making many happy memories with Rambo.
11/19/2009: Rambo and I went for a nice relaxing ride today.. I look forward to many more rides with my new boy and pray we will be blessed with making many happy memories on those rides :-)..

12/3/2009 I tell you I didn't think my heart could love another horse as much as I loved my old Jim, but Rambo has so quickly touched a special place in my heart.
I get up of a morning now and I can't wait to go and feed. It touches my heart so much to hear Rambo's welcoming nicker and to feel his warm breath against my hand and check...I know that Rambo will never take the place of my Jim, but he has definately already won his special place in my heart. I can never say thank you enough to Christy and to God for blessing me with this wonderful gift and a special love that I never thought I would experience again...I am truly blessed...

3/1/2010: Rambo is doing so good. I love his quirky personality. He has stolen a piece of my heart that I thought would never be opened after my Jim was laid to rest. I am so anxious for the warmer weather to get here so we can start hitting the trails on a more regular basis! I will post updated pictures of Rambo soon and look for pictures of us on the trails once the weather warms up!
